OH BOY, I was happy when Games Workshop showed us the new upcomming box for warcry. While Sundered Fate was a little disappointing, ok the Seraphon warband looked great, but the terrain was a bit of a miss for me.
In Sundered Fate the 2 trees looked some what the same as the trees in the launch box and only had 1 realy new terrain bit.
None the less when the terrain gets sold separately I will still buy it.
But this time... OMG, where to start?
Ok terrain wise the scattered terrain pieces look the same as the Heart of Ghur and Sundered Fate boxes, but this time we het 4 new terrain pieces (looking at the picture) 2 Gnarlwood trees with bamboo platforms and walls to actually hide behind and 2 stand alone bamboo walls with platforms. And besides getting some more rope bridges this time it looks like we get at least 2 bamboo ladders.
Hobby wise it seems like a fun build and paint project... so yeah the terrain has gotten my attention so far.
Now the warbands.
At first glance they look awesome again with nice details and surely a nice asset to your warband collection. Can't wait to see more about their stats and abilities.
This time the warbands represents the Grand Alliences of Death and Chaos.
For the death alliance the warband consists of Vampires, a nice edition to the soulblight faction.
This warband is called "The Askurgan Trueblades" consisting of undead warrior monks affected by the Soulblight Curse who hunt great beasts of the realms to sate their thirst so they won't succumb to their betial tendencies.
The second warband is another great edition to the Chaos ranks. Not much details were given about them.
Going of from the images and little details that were given it seems they will fall under the Blades of Khorne army.
The Claws of Karanak as they are called are savage mortal warriors warriors whi worship the daemonic Flesh Hounds of Khorne. These savage warriors have abandoned the last vestiges of civilisation, even loping into battle on all fours.
